About the Club
We are a football school which is FA chartered standard. We facilitate weekend and midweek football for local residents at 2 venues currently and looking to implement this in a third venue as of 2022. Originally Tufnell Park (North London) we have rebranded and expanded to Host a football school at London Fields (Eat London), Lillie Recreational (West London) and plans to open up x2 more next year sometime in South London and Hyde Park. We have rebranded as ‘London Football School’. We cater to all local residents to our Venues from ages 2-12 and operate on Saturdays and Sundays which equates to 1000 young people every weekend. We also have 15 teams per football school that compete in locals youth leagues.
We have many Initiatives that we believe are unique to us as a football school:
We host x2 girls-only sessions at each of our venues to support the recent increase in young girls wanting to play football. With this we also accommodate the Mums of said young people and facilitate a weekly training session for those Mums wanting to keep fit, learn more about football and socialize with other Mums, we also do this for our Dads too.
The initiative we are most proud of is our bursary scheme. We hold events, sell merchandise and ask for donations from our more economically stable parents in order to assist those families who without the bursary, would not be able to access football on a weekly basis. This is something we are very proud of as it allows many young people the opportunity to ”play football” weekly and access a whole host of social and emotional building exercises that playing football offers.
