About the Club
Limehouse Laces are a community girls’ football club based in the diverse borough of Tower Hamlets in East London. Limehouse Laces was started by two local Mums, frustrated that there was nowhere for their secondary school age daughters to play football. Starting with 9 girls in 2013, we now have over 130 women and girls playing regular football. We are committed to proving that football is a game for women and girls and that we should be involved in every aspect of the game. Our club is run by women an we have trained 25 FA Level 1 female Coaches, and two FA Level 2 female coaches.
