Overview
We're primarily looking for an enthusiastic, responsible and qualified football coaches that can commit to one training session and one match per week to coach and manage one of our grassroots teams (U8 - U14). The commitment is required for an entire season (September 2022 - July 2023). There is also an opportunity to add more hours in the week, coaching at our skills development centres and after school clubs.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver training sessions in line with Super Skills playing culture and philosophy,
- Develop and improve players through effective coaching,
- Ensure the safety of our children and attend to first aid if needed,
- Manage team selections for weekly matches and independently manage the team on match days,
- Follow the Coaches Code of Conduct,
- Complete match report forms and report any incidents that break codes of conducts,
- Keep a track of player progress and complete mid-season and end of season player reports for feedback.
Desired Requirements
Essential Requirements:
- Enthusiastic, confident and reliable person
- Minimum FA LEVEL 1 Coaching in Football
- FA LEVEL 1 First Aid in Football
- Able to work evenings & weekends
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Experienced in working with children aged 5 - 16 years in a Sports environment
Desirable Requirements:
- An in date CRB / DBS check
- FA LEVEL 2 Coaching in Football
- Confident and able in demonstrating football skills when coaching
- Car owner and valid full UK driving license
