Role: Women’s Team Manager            Location: Barnes Bridge, West London

Time Commitment: Matches - Sunday (usually 2pm-4pm) (Home and Away) Training – Thursday (7pm-8.30pm)

 The Team

The Civil Service Women’s Team was established in Summer 2018. The team began its participation in the GLWFL in 2019.

Despite the club title, the Civil Service Football Club welcomes all players, from all occupations. We are an inclusive team, who pride ourselves on being open and encouraging everyone who has an interest in the game to get involved. We continually strive to provide a space in which everyone is respected and treated equally regardless of race, gender, class, sexuality, age, religion or disability. We do not recruit players based on ability. We accept all levels of players including those who are completely new to the sport.

The team is very friendly and socialise regularly outside of training. We have a Women’s team committee who, as well as undertaking the necessary administrative functions, create new opportunities for the team to play and build team culture through socials.

Training

The Manager would be expected to run training on Thursdays and therefore we are seeking a candidate who has experience of coaching.

As previously noted, the team is a mixture of new and more experienced players and therefore any candidate needs to be able to adapt sessions and drills to all abilities.

We have access to excellent 4G astro-turf pitches for training sessions each Thursday.

Matches

We seek to provide all players an opportunity to play competitively, and therefore all players who join the club are invited to participate in league and cup games. In line with our wider club policy, all players should be given the opportunity to play thirty minutes if invited to attend match days.

We welcome candidates who are dedicated to providing opportunities to all players in line with our club policy.
