Overview
Balham FC are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Coach for our newly established U8s squad for the 2022/23 season and beyond. Two Coaches working together could also work.
The team will be playing Saturday football in the London County Saturday youth football league.
As a Club we are all about long term player development with many of our First Team players having played in our Youth Teams. We strive to bring a bit of Barcelona to Balham!
Person Specification:
· FA Level 1 or above Qualified Coach or a Coach looking to get a qualification.
· Current valid FA Safeguarding and First Aid certificates
· Able and happy to commit to two training session a week in the Balham area of SW London.
· Able to commit to matches on Saturdays - home matches are played in Balham
· A great communicator with kids, parents and Club Officials.
· Ability to deliver fun and challenging sessions looking to build on performances in matches.
· Enhanced DBS check will be made on behalf of the Club.
The role is voluntary but Coaches will be provided with kit, equipment, and support in gaining additional qualifications. The Coach(es) will be supported by a Team Rep to help with match and League admin.
