Overview

South West London based, FA Charter Standard Accredited, London Falcons FC are looking for a reliable, positive and enthusiastic coach to plan and deliver weekly training sessions at the new, state of the art, Falcon Park in Battersea on Wednesday nights.

We are one of the UK's leading LGBT friendly, inclusive football teams and participate in the third tier of the Wimbledon and District League along with national competitions around the country with an international annual tour taking place in the summer.  We are a one club team and have been in existence for 15 years with a current membership of around 30 active players.

We are ideally looking for a FA level 2 coach looking to consolidate their learnings or a FA level 1 coach working towards their level 2 badges.  We would be an excellent team to work with, particularly in respect of the latter.  We are able to offer some remuneration to the right person in consideration of their time and travel expenses and would welcome interest via this website or any of our social media platforms.

Key Responsibilities

-Liaising with the existing management team in terms of establishing a team development plan

-Devising training sessions geared toward achieving the goals and objectives of that plan

-Running and managing those sessions and ensuring those goals and objectives are met (should match day involvement be required for exhibiting in a portfolio compiled for level 2 qualification, we are happy to support the coach in this endeavour)

Desired Requirements

-As a minimum, FA level 1 qualifications should have been achieved and the right coach will have also either already achieved level 2 or be working toward it.

-Previous experience of working with 11 a side football teams, ideally men's open aged teams however we are happy to hear from junior coaches looking to broaden their horizons.
