Overview
• SSLEFC is currently looking for a youth coach that has experience working at a professional club. The ideal candidate will lead the training sessions and help the coaching team on Saturday mornings. They will need to have a UEFA A or B Coaching qualification and a valid FA CRC, emergency first aid training and hold an updated Safeguarding Children’s Workshop certificate.
• The club want to set a higher standard for the coaching that is delivered to the youth players at the foundation phase of their development
• We have training every Saturday morning from 10am to 12pm at a local school in Chadwell Heath
Key Responsibilities
• Help train young players of all different abilities
• Plan and deliver training sessions alongside the other coaches at the club
• Be confident to work independently and part of a wider team
• Deliver training sessions that are fun and engaging with an emphasis on improving technical ability and game understanding
Desired Requirements
- Good communication skills
- UEFA A or B coaching qualification
- A keen interest in development
- Enjoy working with children between 8 to 12 years old
- To hold a valid FA CRC, Emergency First Aid and Safeguarding Children Workshop certificate
- Previous experience coaching at the Foundation Stage at an academy
