Would you like to be part of an exciting children’s sports coaching business in North Finchley based in North London?
We are looking to recruit someone that is able to commence their training immediately and is able to work Sundays from around 09:00 am – 12:00 pm.
There are initially 3 – 4 hours a week, however, there is an opportunity to pick up additional hours at other venues throughout North London if you have availability throughout the week.
Through 4 progressive classes, children 18 months to 4 yrs of age go on a fantastic journey in athletic movement. They are introduced to the basics of athletic movement skills (running, jumping, throwing) in a play-based yet structured format.
Children are encouraged to develop motor skills that are fundamental to their early physical development. In addition, the exercises build cognitive and social skills, preparing them for early learning goals.
Currently, we are looking to recruit for the position of Lead Coach for our fantastic Mini Basketball sessions that will be able to start immediately.
The role will be on a part-time/casual basis with the initial classes that are due to take place over the weekends at various venues. Later there will be a possibility to take on more hours as the classes grow and we also grow as a company.
Key Responsibilities
To prepare creative, fun, and educational session plans for children aged 18months-4yrs old. Session plans must be progressive and focus on developing motor skills and cognitive skills through basketball.
To welcome and acknowledge all participants upon arrival of each class with enthusiasm.
Take the attendance register.
To inspire and engage with the children in your classes.
Design and deliver lesson plans in a fun and structured environment using equipment and apparatus provided.
Any other duties as required. Little Cruz is looking for:

Desired Requirements
Must-Have:
*Enhanced DBS check
*Paediatric first aid certificate
*Child safeguarding certificate
*Available to work on weekends
*Experience working with kids ages 18 months to 4 years old
*Can do attitude
Other:
– Clean driver’s license, access to own vehicle, and able to travel across our region
– Must satisfy relevant pre-employment checks including two current references relevant to the position
– Passionate about inspiring children to develop a love of sport
– Must be reliable and flexible.
