Overview
Due to continued growth and ambition to support the growth of the Women’s game, South London Girls Football Academy has an opportunity for an aspiring female football coach to obtain an FA Introduction to Coaching Course (formally FA Level 1) and receive mentoring through the FA’s 100FC initiative and internal mentoring.
You will need to be an ambitious and enthusiastic coach who is passionate about offering opportunity to youth players through the coaching you provide. An eye for the game and experience within youth development or football will be ideal, but most importantly a mindset to develop and execute new learnings continuously.
South London Girls Football Academy offers young females the opportunity to develop their football through a 43-week holistic development curriculum. It is not a grassroots club or teams, but an academy that provides a high level of professional coaching for those wishing to accelerate their development. These players may then attend friendly fixtures or tournaments with the academy.
We are looking for application from coaches with:
An ambition to coach and a passion for football
General understanding of football
Some engagement with youth development and/or football
Willing to continuously learn and develop with mentoring
Willing to learn technical detail
