FC Battersea comprises of TALENTED players from local Battersea schools in south London. We mentor and provide a pathway through youth football, leveraging the best the professional game has to offer.

Anthony McNamee, FCB coach, said “By spending quality time training with a ball at their feet, FC Battersea is a great opportunity for local kids to become great footballers. We want to mentor them to be the best.” Anthony is a UEFA coach and former professional who played in the Premiership with Watford and represented England at U19s.

Our aim is to bridge the gap between  ‘academy’ and ‘grassroots’ youth systems for local players with football talent and commitment. Exceptional players are identified and nurtured through our pro / semi pro player pathway.  Through football, life skills and wider learning, FC Battersea is a local FAMILY that develops exceptional players but above all creates excellent and principled young people.

We deliver excellence in coaching and organisational support to enable our players to perform at the highest level of grassroots football and to grow as leaders on and off the pitch.  We are ambitious and restless, always developing opportunities for our members and providing Battersea with a strong, sustainable, high achieving and community-minded football club.

All of our squads play in the Premier Divisions of the Tandridge League and compete in the Tandridge Challenge Cup and London FA Cup.

We have dominated the Tandridge League over the last 4 years, won the London FA Cup and have ambitious plans for 23/24 season and beyond.
