UCL Women’s Football Club (UCLWFC) is currently looking for a new committed coach for our 1st Team, a highly experienced and well-performing team in the British University and College Sport (BUCS) league and London University Sports League (LUSL).

About Us:
UCLWFC is one of the largest university women’s football club in the UK with 4 teams and over 100 members. We pride ourselves in our ability to provide football opportunities to students of all experience levels, fostering an inclusive environment.

Our 1st Team is composed of our most skilled and experienced members. They perform at a consistently high level in the LUSL and BUCS league and are often contenders for the top positions in both leagues. The 1stTeam additionally plays an annual match against King’s College London as part of the London Varsity Series which they have won on the majority of occasions and for which we hope to regain the title in the upcoming season.

Our season starts in October and ends in late March, with weekly training sessions on Thursday evenings (7 to 9 pm) near White City, London. The 1st Team has additional strength & conditioning sessions on occasion. The LUSL and BUCS matches usually take place on Wednesday and Sunday afternoons.

Coach Qualifications:
We are looking for a qualified football coach that can lead 21 training sessions of the season and attend the 1stTeam’s LUSL and BUCS matches.

Required Qualifications:
-       Have a minimum FA Level 2 qualification in coaching football (or equivalent)
-       Valid FA First Aid certificate
-       Relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications:
-       Good interpersonal communication skills
-       Dependability and adaptability

Rate of Pay:
£17  an hour (applying to trainings and matches)
