Overview
KSI Coaching are looking for a head coach to work with our Under 10 Navy side. This group of kids play leauge football every Sunday and are a intermiddiate level.
We are looking for a coach that pioritises on player development rather than the final score as we have a strong philosphy of developing player to be able to play in a range of positions in order to prepare them for competitive football.
We promote a positive inculsive athmosphere at the club and would like our coach to echo or values and philosphy. This role would be ideal for someone who would want to have experience coaching the youth/ Upper foundation phase of development.
Key Responsibilities
· Adhere to all children safeguarding standards
· To administer first aid when needed
· Leading on sessions and ensuring sessions go well
· Making sure Registers are done
· Working with individuals separately for individuals to understand tasks
· Maintaining positive relationships with parents and children
· To be a positive role model to children who come to sessions
· Provide coaching sessions in accordance with KSI Coaching FC procedures
· To coach fun engaging sessions for the children
· To have an input to provide technical feedback to parents and kids to lead coach about their progress at sessions
· To work with manager on improvements to improve the sessions
· To be punctual at KSI Coaching sessions
· Speaking to manager about self-development
Desired Requirements
at least 1 year experience coaching a football team
Level 2 or actively working on achieving the level 2 qualification
1 year experience working with kids aged 8-12 years old
