Overview
Barnet Panthers are a relatively new girls football club - formed in summer 2022 - based in North London (Barnet/Finchley area). We currently have three teams playing in the HGFPL U14s Div 1, Capital Girls League Div 1 (U13s) and Capital Girls League Div 2 (U14s) plus a development squad.
We are expanding our teams next season and are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic coaches to join our fun football club and grow with us.
We are looking for coaches across the board to join us. But would welcome female coaches looking to get into coaching to consider our club as a good entry point.
Key attributes are reliability, a love for football and a willingness to learn and work collaboratively with a dynamic, fun team of people.
The coaching role would include the following activities:
- Planning and running training sessions (currently Monday evenings)
- Picking the squad with the coaching team
- Managing the team on match days
- Giving feedback and encouragement to individual players
- Liaising with parents
- Working with the committee to ensure smooth running of the club
This is an ideal opportunity to gain experience on a voluntary basis in a supportive, welcoming club.
Training dates are currently Monday evening in Totteridge/Barnet. However, we may be looking at another date next season (possibly Tuesday)
Location: home matches - either Southgate, N14 or Colindale, NW9 depending on the team coaching
Voluntary: The role is voluntary but the club are very good at offering incentives and opportunities for coaches as well as offering to cover the cost of relevant coaching courses
