Key Responsibilities
This is a voluntary position that offers a great opportunity to gain experience and contribute to the development of a competitive football team. All the positions at the Menace are voluntary.
The Assistant Coach will work closely with Mary Phillip (men’s first team Manager and Club Head Coach), providing support during training sessions, match days, and other team activities.
The role requires dedication and availability for training sessions and matches, typically taking place on midweek evenings and Saturday afternoons.
Desired Requirements
Strong Communication Skills: Effective communication is key to fostering a positive and productive team environment. As an assistant coach, you will be responsible for conveying instructions, providing feedback, and maintaining open lines of communication with both players and coaching staff.
Motivational Abilities: We are looking for someone who can inspire and motivate our players to perform at their best. Your role will involve encouraging teamwork, instilling confidence, and helping players reach their full potential on and off the pitch.
Introduction to Coaching Football Course: The ideal candidate will have completed the Introduction to Coaching Football course or be willing to undertake it. We value individuals who are committed to continuous learning and development.
Connections in Step 6 or 7: It would be advantageous if you have connections and contacts within the football community, particularly players at Step 6 or 7. Your network can help us identify potential talent and strengthen our squad for the upcoming season.
