Overview
This assistant coach role you will be working with out U7 team assisting our lead coach in helping the group. This group is a new group and you will also be required to assist the lead coach on matchdays on Sundays.
Please note that there will be a coaching trail where you would be required to deliver a training session for 15-20 mins if you are invited to come down.
Also, this is a volunteer role however we will look to offer you paid opportunities in our other programs and look to build your coaching experience through CPD.
Key Responsibilities
· Adhere to all children safeguarding standards
· Adhere to all KSI Coaching FC guidelines and practices
· Work with lead coach on ensuring sessions go well
· Deliver a small part of sessions e.g. warm ups and support lead coach setting up activities
· Reinforcing key points from lead coach to children who may not understand tasks
· Working with players separately for individuals to help them understand tasks
· Maintaining positive relationships with parents and children
· Reporting player feedback to lead coach for coaches to input feedback in the google drive
· To be a positive role model to children
· To coach fun engaging sessions for the children
· To work with head coach and management on ways to improve the sessions
· To be punctual at KSI Coaching sessions
